Down at the Farm

Yesterday was one of those days where I think, 'I can't believe I get paid to do this!'
We went to the farm and as luck would have it, even though it was cold, it was gloriously sunny but as luck would also have it many of the animals were playing hide and seek so not many were seen. But as I have been to this farm probably around a hundred times as a wee girl I wasn't overtly put out.

I wore my blue bowler hat to keep my head warm, but sadly I had forgotten that it is merely a fashion accessories and  I was left feeling a little bit chilli.

The one and only horse we saw.

A goat that clearly thought rather a lot of himself.

There isn't much to say about this photo except... it's a chicken.

I think this pig is some sort of long lost relative of mine. Oi Ginger!

Jemima and her gals just having a lil' chin wag. Yes I am aware that Jemima was a duck and they are geese but I'm sure you can all over look that fact just as I did.

Berries! I have this thing about taking photos of berries, just ignore me.

Me and Mama Brown chillin'.

And that was our visit to the farm! Hope you enjoyed it.
I have a cute little something arriving from eBay this week which I can't wait to show you all, look forward to it all.
Till next time,

Birmingham Part 3

Our last day in Birmingham was an eventful one. We woke at 6am to pack, have breakfast and check out then we were on the road.
We had to be at Cadbury's World by 9am (lots of early starts) and were out by 12. Sadly all the photo's I took in Cadbury's World were very blurred so I can't show you any :( but as we did go back to the Safari I can show you more pictures of animals... yey!

I wore a military inspired outfit. Vintage 1970s dress with a little primark scarf.
Bethan wore her 'Will Power' T-shirt that she and me bought the previous day except mine is navy blue and gold (and better)

I took this photo after we had lunch in the car and I got slightly bored waiting for everyone to finish. I have more like this but Charlie and Bethan photo bombed them all, this one had a lucky escape.

The Rhinos again, looking slightly sad.
A Giraffe getting all up in my grill.

I love this photo.
You saw the head and now you can see the tail. Will I ever get a full picture of a Zebra?

And that concludes my Holiday in Birmingham, I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I did.
Till next time folks,

Birmingham part 1

So I am finally back home after a pretty exhausting little holiday.
I had a great time but I am so glad to be back home and I never thought I would be so happy to be back in South Shields!

We stayed at  the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel, it was pretty swanky and due to a little issue with a member of staff we received  free wine and cookies during our stay.

Me and Bethan posing in our hotel room.

On Tuesday we went to The West Midlands Safari Park which I had visited a few times when I was a wee nipper but that didn't mean I was any less excited! I was like a little girl, jumping up and down in anticipation to see all the wild aminals.
Sadly the weather decided that as we were on holiday that it had to rain but towards the end of the day the sun did shows its face.

Indian Rhinos. They are such beautiful animals

Cheetahs, lovely to look at but they didn't do much haha.
Us posing for a family photo on the way round the safari.
A stunning lioness.
The lion King!
White Lion.
A rather goofy looking camel.
The best picture I could get on the day of the white tiger.
A zebra's head, I swear the rest of the body is somewhere.
Me and Bethan inside the safari park.
A Meerkat. He's just chillin'
I was pretty impressed with this picture I took of the hippo.

And that was our first day in Birmingham.
Till next time folks,
